Johan Nel served as a lieutenant colonel in the South African Police Force where he was responsible for the training of officers, financial clerks and detectives. He has a diploma in Police Administration through Technikon SA and obtained B.Com and B.Proc degrees through the University of South Africa. Johan's legal career started at Brandmullers Attorneys in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, in 1997. He was admitted as an attorney to the High Court in 1999, and in 2000 he started his firm Johan Nel attorneys in the tranquil town of Mossel Bay.
